Eumetsat/Thales 3D viewer Mock-up
A selection of EUMETSAT's visualised products available from EumetView WMS server (Meteosat and Metop RGB composites) The EUMETView Pilot Service is planned to become operational in 2017, and will eventually replace the current online Real-Time Imagery service.
These are geolocated and displayed using the NASA WebWorldWind framework. NASA Web World Wind is a 3D virtual globe API for HTML5 and JavaScript. Thales is taking part on the development of the framework and contribute to its functionalities (ex: WMTS, TMS)
